• Project Description: Our company CFT International (Pvt) Ltd, which is a family concern is now into the third generation is one of the leading spice exporting companies in Sri Lanka. The Managing Director of this company Mr. Herman Fernando was the former Managing Director of Ceylon & Foreign Trades Ltd. His father Mr J. W. Fernando was a founder member of Ceylon & Foreign Trades Ltd. which was founded in 1949. On his retirement as Managing Director his son succeeded as the Managing Director. The other two current Directors of CFTI are Mr. H.P Fernando (Son) and Mr. M.J.A.M Perera (Son in law) Mr. Prashantha Fernando an accountant by profession is a member of the following institutions, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, Association of Professional Financial Managers, Fellow of the Society of Certified Management Accountants, Fellow of the Institute of Certified Industrial Accountants, Fellow Certified Public Accountant and also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Colombo. He joined the company in 1993 and currently is a director of the company. Mr. Milan Perera who holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Colombo joined CFTI in 1994. He was a lecturer at the University of Moratuwa, before joining CFTI. He is currently a director of the company.
